In recent years, international concerns have focused attention on the sustainability of family planning programs in developing countries throughout the world, in view of the noticeable scarce resources and the planned donors' phasing out. By 2011, Egypt is preparing for the challenge of sustaining its family planning program after the complete phase-out of USAID. This study looks at the costs of the Egyptian family planning program with updated data from the most recent fiscal years.
